Emilie Zuccolotto translates intuitive strategy into shrewd litigation, allowing her to readily anticipate the needs and act in the best interest of her clients when their businesses and reputations are in jeopardy.

Her civil litigation practice focuses on representing employers in high-stakes employment and business disputes, including single-plaintiff suits and class actions, across industries ranging from media and entertainment to financial services.

Emilie regularly defends corporations against state and federal employment law violation claims related to wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination by individuals and through class actions in court and arbitration—often winning a dismissal or negotiating a favorable settlement. As just one example, Emilie obtained summary judgment on behalf of a Fortune 50 company in a hotly contested wrongful termination and discrimination lawsuit.

To help her employer clients implement risk mitigation strategies before an issue arises, Emilie advises on regulatory and compliance matters and conducts sensitive internal investigations. From her experience litigating claims related to civil rights, she is acutely familiar with the nuances of laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and provides comprehensive counseling to employers to ensure workplace compliance.

In her wider commercial litigation practice, Emilie also handles complex business disputes, including breach of contract claims, trade secret violations, and consumer class actions for large and small companies and individuals as defendants and plaintiffs. In one instance, Emilie represented a leading financial advisory firm in a trade secret and contract dispute against its advisors, which resulted in a favorable award for her client following arbitration. Her diverse practice also encompasses white collar defense matters.

Emilie began her litigation career at a national law firm and joined Larson when the firm was first founded. As a law student, she served as an extern to the Honorable Ernest M. Robles of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Central District of California, and was awarded a Graduate Certificate in Entertainment Law. Before pursuing a career in law, Emilie lived in Italy and worked in fashion. She also played competitive soccer for 13 years.
