Andrew Calderón practices complex civil litigation and white collar defense. He is an “anywhere, anytime” litigator with experience practicing in state, federal, and international jurisdictions.

Andrew has managed litigation in both state and federal courts throughout the country and in arbitration. He has also served international clients and worked with local counsel in foreign jurisdictions, including Mexico, to manage cross-border claims and disputes.

He represents Fortune 500 companies, local businesses, and private individuals alike with the same vigor and responsive service. He has served clients in commercial disputes, employment claims, product liability suits, and other civil actions. Andrew’s work has covered broad industries, including; aviation, entertainment, financial services, and product manufacturing.

Some of his white collar practice has included representing individual clients in state and federal investigations and against charges such as insider trading and complex fraud schemes. He has participated in high-profile internal investigations for national organizations and government agencies. Andrew’s law enforcement background gives him unique insights to guide his clients through investigations and to defend them in criminal prosecutions.

During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Hon. George H. Wu of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and as a legal extern for the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. Prior to law school, Andrew served nine years as a police officer in the Long Beach Police Department where his assignments included patrol, Directed Enforcement Team, and Drug Investigations Section. In this role, he led hundreds of narcotics investigations and worked closely with state and federal prosecutors. Andrew also served as a field artillery officer in the California Army National Guard and served one tour of duty overseas in the Middle East.
