In the 2023 edition of most admired law firms, the Los Angeles Business Journal recognizes firms that attract top talent and prioritize employee retention.
The focus of this year’s edition is on the rapidly expanding legal industry in Los Angeles. The issue highlights the characteristics that make a firm stand out as “most admired,” and explores the strategies that successful firms have taken to retain their employees, including unique ways to foster a diverse and positive work environment. In summary, the Los Angeles Business Journal features firms that are actively working to ensure that their employees feel supported and that their office is a place that employees look forward to going to.
In this year’s issue, the Los Angeles Business Journal highlights Larson’s exponential growth since it opened in 2016, attributing its expansion to the firm’s welcoming and collaborative environment. The office provides several spaces where attorneys and staff can come together to eat lunch, celebrate birthdays, and host swearing-in ceremonies for newly admitted California Bar associates. Due to the company’s rapid growth, Larson will relocate to another floor within the same building in October of this year. The new space will provide the firm with an entire floor and boasts a sleek and modern look, while still maintaining the firm’s friendly culture and attitude towards collaborative areas. Additionally, the firm is looking forward to its biennial staff retreat at La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs this fall, where all staff will enjoy a weekend getaway to rest and relax with their families.
