Jane Davidson approaches complex civil litigation and white collar defense matters through a big-picture lens, balancing her clients’ goals beyond the immediate matter to achieve the best outcome.

She has experience managing all stages of litigation, and she helps companies avoid litigation by handling pre-litigation intellectual property enforcement and compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other emerging data privacy legislation.

Before joining Larson, Jane was a litigator at an Am Law 100 firm in Los Angeles. Her significant representations span many practice areas and include successfully terminating a high-profile conservatorship after 13 years and navigating an associated breach of fiduciary duty investigation, representing non-U.S. resident witnesses in a workplace murder investigation, and obtaining summary judgment for an international transportation system manufacturer in a personal injury case. In law school, Jane worked as a law clerk in criminal litigation for prosecution and defense. During her time as a certified law clerk in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, she served as first chair in a criminal trial.

Prior to her career as an attorney, Jane ran a brand development and social media consulting company where she managed the online presence of musicians, influencers, and events. As a recognized online branding expert in the music and influencer industries, she spoke at a number of conferences and classes about building and maintaining online reputations. Jane leverages that experience in her legal career to focus on the impact litigation may have on a company’s brand. She also teaches “Business & Legal Aspects of the Music Industry” as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in music industry.
