On Oct. 4, the long-awaited Los Angeles trial surrounding a family dispute involving more than $1 billion in assets began with opening statements.
A jury on Wednesday afternoon began hearing opening remarks from attorneys representing the plaintiff and defense in the fraternal dispute. Larson partner, Rick Richmond, delivered opening remarks on behalf of Larson client, Haresh Jogani. At issue in the 20-year-old lawsuit is an alleged oral agreement whereby four of the Jogani brothers have sought to encroach on Haresh’s multi-billion-dollar real estate portfolio and profits. The trial, taking place at the Los Angeles Superior Court, is expected to last months.
The Larson trial team representing Haresh Jogani includes partners Rick Richmond, John Lee, Stephen G. Larson, R.C. Harlan, Jonathan E. Phillips, and Paul A. Rigali, counsel Jonathan Gershon, associates Caroline Glennie-Smith, Jasmine Johnson, Ranja Rasul, Jeremy Varon, and Jina Yoon, paralegals Anthony Gooneratne and Raymond Roman, and staff members Jesús Delgado, Jackie Neal, and Maria Salazar.
