Larson O’Brien Welcomes New Associates


 

In this time of uncertainty, Larson O’Brien is thankful for our ability to continue to grow, strengthening our ranks of trial lawyers ready to serve and support our clients.

The firm is pleased to announce that Scott J. Fishwick, Daniel R. Lahana, and Maggie W. Hall have joined as associates since March.

Scott has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in all types of cases in courtrooms nationwide and across an equally broad range of industries, including technology, financial services, real estate, consumer products, and entertainment. Prior to joining Larson O’Brien, Scott was an associate at Winston & Strawn LLP in Los Angeles. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Victoria A. Roberts of the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Michigan. Scott earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, cum laude, and his A.B., cum laude, from Dartmouth College.

Daniel’s complex commercial disputes and white collar criminal defense practice includes litigating issues involving real property, trusts and estates, employment disputes, fraudulent transfers, class action defense, and trade secrets. He joined Larson O’Brien from a litigation boutique in Los Angeles where he represented individuals and businesses in federal and state courts. After law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable William F. Highberger of the Los Angeles County Superior Court’s Complex Civil Litigation Program. Daniel earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of California Irvine.

Maggie joined Larson O’Brien after beginning her career as an associate attorney at a legal services firm in Los Angeles. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. She also volunteered at the Homelessness Prevention Clinic and worked as a Legal Advocate at the Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center, where she advocated for clients in multiple Individualized Education Program mediations at Los Angeles schools. Maggie earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
