Daily Journal has once again recognized partner Stephen G. Larson as one of the “Top 100 Lawyers in California” for an eighth consecutive year.
The annual special edition recognizes the attorneys doing impactful, cutting-edge work in California. This year, the Daily Journal highlighted Stephen’s representation of foreign entities with interests or disputes in the U.S. These matters include negotiating the release of a Radio Free Europe journalist, whom Stephen regarded as a political prisoner, coordinating a favorable sentence for a client charge with sanctions violations, and winning a $5 million jury verdict for a Luxemburg company in a dispute related to telecommunication systems in Iraq.
Stephen was also recognized for recent work on notable class action disputes. He served as co-lead plaintiff’s counsel representing businesses and families harmed by a major oil spill off the coast of Orange County. The case was resolved with settlements totaling $95 million. Stephen also was appointed as a leader in two other class actions including claims related to allegedly defective bicycle cranksets and a data breach class action.
Stephen’s recognition reflects the diversity and complexity of the firm’s practice.
Larson congratulates Stephen and all of this year’s honorees! See the full list of the “Top 100 Lawyers in California” here and read Stephen’s full profile here (subscription required).
