Larson is pleased to announce that Tyler J. Franklin, Mehrunisa Ranjha, Anahit Sargsyan, Jeremy T. Varon, and Jina Yoon joined the firm as associates.

Tyler joined Larson from a respected litigation boutique where he specialized in trademark infringement, breach of contract, and business and partnership disputes. Among his achievements, he was on the litigation team representing a television programmer in a breach of contract, copyright infringement, and declaratory judgment action against a major U.S. pay television distributor. Tyler earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and his B.A. from Loyola Marymount University.

Mehru worked at a prominent Los Angeles criminal defense firm before joining Larson, where she specialized in appellate litigation and trial court motions. As just one example, her work on a writ of mandamus brought before the California Court of Appeal resulted in the successful pretrial dismissal of dozens of serious felony charges. Mehru earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and her B.A. from James Madison University, cum laude.

Anahit began her legal career at a public law firm, where she worked on litigation, elections, state legislation, ethics, and conflict of interest matters. She previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw of the U.S. Court of Appeals of the Ninth Circuit. Anahit earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and her B.A. from the University of California, Davis, cum laude.

Jeremy worked as a staff attorney at The Legal Aid Society of New York City, where he represented indigent defendants in trial-level criminal proceedings, before moving back to Los Angeles to join Larson. He previously served as a law clerk in the Los Angeles and Oakland offices of the Federal Public Defender. Jeremy earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and his B.A. from Swarthmore College.

Jina joined Larson after successfully completing the two-year Attorney General’s Honors Program with the Department of Justice’s Los Angeles Immigration Court, where she worked as a judicial law clerk and attorney advisor. She earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder, with distinction.

“With the addition of these five talented associates, our firm continues to fortify and diversify our complex civil litigation, white collar defense, internal investigations, and appellate practices. We are thrilled to welcome Tyler, Mehru, Anahit, Jeremy, and Jina to the firm.”
