Joss Berteaud brings a strategic approach to complex investigations, regulatory matters, and high-stakes litigation.
His practice is informed by experience handling a broad range of state and government investigations, as well as litigation before federal, state, and administrative courts.
Before joining Larson, Joss served as counsel in the Division of Enforcement at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he led investigations into potential violations of federal securities laws. He oversaw investigative discovery, drafted investigative and litigation filings, conducted witness interviews and investigative testimony, and coordinated with other domestic and foreign regulators, including the U.S. Department of Justice in parallel criminal proceedings.
