The Los Angeles Daily Journal has recognized partner Catherine S. Owens in its annual issue highlighting the top lawyers under the age of 40 in California for 2025.
Catherine joined Larson LLP in 2021, and was elevated to partner in 2024. Her practice includes complex commercial and intellectual property litigation, including breach of contract, tortious interference, common law fraud, securities fraud, RICO, patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation. She represents individuals and corporations in federal jury trials, state bench trials, arbitrations, and appeals to the Ninth Circuit and California appellate courts.
The Daily Journal profile spotlighted Catherine’s recent victory for Alfa Consult, a Luxembourg-based telecommunications company, in a federal breach of contract dispute in the Northern District of California. The jury returned a unanimous verdict awarding Alfa Consult $5 million in damages, with Catherine serving as second-chair counsel.
