On May 12, partner Stephen G. Larson joined Los Angeles’ leading attorneys for the inaugural Top 100 Lawyers Awards, hosted by Los Angeles Business Journal.
Replacing Los Angeles Business Journal’s annual Leaders in Law nominations and awards ceremony, “Top 100 Lawyers” recognizes a select group of attorneys for their legal achievements, community involvement, and impacts on the profession. The honorees gathered at the ASU California Center in downtown Los Angeles for the awards ceremony to celebrate their contributions and exemplary leadership before the special issue was published on May 16.
Stephen, who is also named on Los Angeles Business Journal’s annual “LA500: Most Influential People in L.A.” list, was recognized for achieving landmark results during an unprecedented two years. His profile in the publication featured his appointment to serve as interim co-lead counsel of the oil spill class actions against Amplify Energy Corp. It also highlighted Stephen’s role in leading the investigation into certain Riverside County departments following the highly publicized allegations regarding the treatment of the 13 Turpin children while under County care.
