On September 18, 2019, the president appointed Larson O’Brien co-founder Robert C. O’Brien as the 27th U.S. National Security Advisor.
Robert previously served as special envoy for hostage affairs at the U.S. Department of State. He also served under the George W. Bush administration at the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. mission to the U.N., in addition to co-founding Larson O’Brien and serving as the California managing partner of Arent Fox LLP.
In order to assume his role as National Security Advisor, Robert retired from Larson O’Brien effective September 19, 2019.
