Larson Sponsors Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce

Members of the firm attended the 29th Economic Awards Dinner to support the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce (GLAAACC).

Larson was a proud supporter of the GLAAACC at its 29th Annual Economic Awards Dinner on March 30. The event was held at the JW Marriot in downtown Los Angeles and featured distinguished speakers including Los Angeles Mayor, Karen Bass, as the keynote speaker. Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson was honored with the GLAAACC Public Service Award, and State Controller Malia Cohen was also in attendance.

The purpose of the dinner was to highlight and recognize corporations, small businesses, and individuals who have been most responsive to the African American business community. These companies and individuals provide business opportunities, mentoring, public policy collaboration, and scholarships for inner-city disadvantaged graduating high school students. GLAAACC has disbursed college scholarships to 169 students and raised more than $900,000. This year, GLAAACC celebrated 29 years of excellence and continuous efforts toward dynamic community development. Read more about GLAAACC on their website.
