Larson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Hilary Potashner has been included for the fifth consecutive year on the Los Angeles Daily Journal’s list of “Top Women Lawyers.”
The annual list recognizes 100 leading women lawyers practicing in California for their professional excellence and impact on the legal community.
In this year’s profile, Hilary highlighted her commitment to helping clients navigate complex and often challenging situations. “I wanted to go into a profession where I was helping individuals face and make their way through difficult circumstances,” she said. “The ability to be impactful has kept me engaged.”
Prior to joining Larson, Hilary was twice appointed to serve as the Federal Defender for the Central District of California. Her practice spans white-collar defense, federal fraud cases, complex investigations involving public agencies and high-profile individuals.
“No two sets of facts are the same. Every single matter offers its own unique challenges and opportunities to learn,” she said, noting that she’s drawn to cases where civil, criminal and regulatory issues interact. “I appreciate the ability to develop and execute short-term and long-term strategies, taking into account how actions in one arena will impact the others.”
Hilary’s experience includes defending individuals facing charges in both state and federal court in a wide range of matters, including conspiracy, wire fraud, bank fraud, healthcare fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and other white collar cases.
