A federal judge has dismissed a trade secret lawsuit against Larson LLP client Cleanline Management.
The complaint, brought by competing cannabis manufacturer Greenmount, alleged misappropriation of trade secrets, intentional interference with contractual relations, trade libel, and unfair competition. The lawsuit sought to prevent Cleanline Management from distributing a line of products launched by a former employee of Greenmount.
An initial preliminary injunction issued in 2024 found that Greenmount had not demonstrated ownership of a trade secret, and all claims have now been dismissed with prejudice.
The Larson team representing Cleanline Management was led by partner Catherine S. Owens, and includes partner Stephen G. Larson and associate Jasmine M. Johnson.
