Founding partner Stephen G. Larson has been named one of the Top 100 Lawyers in California by the Los Angeles Daily Journal, in an annual edition recognizing attorneys handling the state’s most significant, high-stakes matters. This marks the ninth time Stephen has been honored as one of California’s top trial lawyers.
A former U.S. District Judge and veteran trial attorney, Larson has spent more than 35 years trying complex business disputes, white-collar cases, and high-profile civil litigation to verdict. “I was drawn to the legal field – and remain drawn – because I consider the rule of law, and the resolution of disputes through legal process, as the only alternative in a pluralistic society to resolution through might and violence,” he said in the Daily Journal profile.
Stephen’s recent work includes leading antitrust lawsuits filed on behalf of homeowners impacted by the devastating Eaton Canyon and Pacific Palisades fires in January this year, and successfully settling a civil rights case filed against the City of Los Angeles alleging racial profiling and assault during an unlawful traffic stop.
