The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) dismissed its negligence case against Larson LLP client Vidul Prakash, former chief financial officer of View, Inc., a manufacturer of “smart glass” building materials.
The SEC alleged that Mr. Prakash underreported warranty liabilities related to the replacement of defective smart glass windows. After discovery and pre-trial proceedings, and just before trial was set to begin, the SEC voluntarily dismissed its complaint in full.
