Alexis Calin’s practice is focused on complex civil litigation and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Larson, Alexis earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School where she was the President and Oralist of the Phillip Jessup Moot Court Competition. She also served in the University of Pennsylvania’s Office of General Counsel, researching and analyzing state and federal healthcare regulations to develop system-wide policies for one of the nation’s largest hospital networks, informing best practices in areas such as patient privacy, reproductive healthcare, and transportation.

Alexis clerked for the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, conducting in-depth legal research on complex and time-sensitive issues, including reform of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and providing legal analysis and guidance on proposed international treaties and agreements. She also interned with the Department of Justice Commercial Litigation Branch, where she collaborated with trial attorneys to develop comprehensive litigation strategies for cases involving claims into the millions of dollars against the United States.

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys learning new languages and exploring the Los Angeles food scene.
