On Sept. 15, 2023, Larson prevailed in its latest jury trial, defeating California Fueling, LLC’s breach of contract claim against Larson clients Best Energy Solutions & Technology Corp. and its President, George Sturges, in the case entitled California Fueling, LLC v. Best Energy Solutions & Technology Corp.
California Fueling alleged that Best Energy and Mr. Sturges committed fraud, interfered with California Fueling’s prospective economic relationships and breached a contract concerning the parties’ ongoing business operations. In the months before trial, Larson prevailed on two motions for judgment on the pleadings, separately defeating California Fueling’s fraud and interference with prospective economic advantage claims. The jury’s verdict capped a complete victory for Best Energy Solutions & Technology Corp. and George Sturges, following two years of litigation.
