Larson LLP is pleased to announce the elevations of Georgina Wakefield and Amelia L.B. Sargent to partner, and Andrew S. Bledsoe to counsel, effective January 1, 2026.
Georgina Wakefield joined Larson after serving as the Trial Unit Chief at the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Central District of California, where she worked for twelve years after serving as a law clerk to Presiding Justice Norman L. Epstein of the California Court of Appeal. She is experienced in handling a variety of fraud cases, including wire fraud, bank fraud, tax fraud, mail fraud, health care fraud and securities fraud, as well as public corruption and bribery offenses, violations of import and export laws, and other regulatory offenses. Georgina earned both her J.D. and B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Amelia Sargent has more than thirteen years of experience litigating a diverse array of complex commercial disputes, including trade secret misappropriation and employee mobility actions, breach of contract, mass torts, copyright infringement, and cultural property disputes. She earned her J.D. from Stanford Law School, as well as a Ph.D. in comparative literature focusing on medieval literature from the University of California, Berkeley; an M.A. from the University of Toronto; and a B.A. from Georgetown University.
Andrew Bledsoe joined Larson in 2023. He represents clients in a range of technical industries, including telecommunications, electronics, and pharmaceuticals. He has experience litigating in district courts across the country and the Federal Circuit. Andrew earned his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, and a B.S. from Brigham Young University.
