Partner Hilary Potashner has been appointed to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California’s Local Rules Advisory Committee (LRAC).
The LRAC is appointed by the Court to study its rules of practice and internal operating procedures, providing recommendations to the Court as needed. Hilary will serve her voluntary three-year term through Dec. 31, 2023.
A former federal public defender, Hilary is experienced in collaborating with judges and other influential lawyers to effect systemic change in the law through court advisory roles. She has served as a lawyer representative for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and currently serves on the Judicial Council of the Ninth Circuit’s Jury Trial Improvement Committee.
