Jodie Koo is a sharp litigator who focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes and white collar defense matters. In addition to significant experience ranging from executing written discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and handling different aspects of trial preparation, Jodie is committed to helping her clients navigate through the complex legal system and achieve favorable results as efficiently as possible.

Before joining Larson LLP, Jodie was a litigation associate at a prominent California law firm where she specialized in tort defense of public entities. Prior to that role, Jodie began her career at one of the largest plaintiffs’ consumer law firms in the country. These experiences provided Jodie with a unique understanding of the litigation process from both sides of the table.

In her final year at Boston University School of Law, Jodie was introduced to the Los Angeles legal community as a visiting student at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. She was a summer associate at an Am Law 100 firm during law school, where she assisted multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies in planning their business immigration strategies. Jodie first gained valuable exposure to financial investigations as an intern at the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence before attending law school. In her free time, Jodie enjoys attending live comedy shows and music concerts, playing piano, trying out new recipes, and spending time outdoors cycling and hiking.
