George A. Lopez


George Lopez is a trial paralegal with over 25 years of experience in general civil and commercial litigation, as well as construction defect, labor and employment, and insurance defense cases. He has worked in offices ranging from a six-attorney boutique to large corporate law firms. As a result of his experience in various environments, George has acquired the ability to work autonomously with a team-oriented approach in mind to ensure delivery of excellent work product to clients.

George’s substantive experience ranges from responding efficiently to nationwide discovery requests on behalf of a major financial institutional client, to being appointed to organize and maintain a large, document intensive multi-district litigation matter. The support he provides for attorneys before and through trial includes preparing various pleadings, collecting and organizing numerous trial exhibits, and coordinating witnesses. In George’s most prominent trial experience, he was recruited on the eve of a six-month trial concerning an intellectual property matter to assist with the day-to-day operation of courtroom activity.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, George enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and woodworking. His favorite form of exercise is running and he has coached Little League baseball for over 20 years. A recipient of the “Pro Bono Star” award from Human Rights First, George gives back to his community by volunteering to feed the homeless and helping individuals register to vote.
