Community Outreach & Pro Bono Coordinator

Brenna Phillips fuses her passion for supporting low-income and minority citizens with an innovative approach to social impact in the legal field. As the firm’s community outreach and pro bono coordinator, Brenna identifies new ways for Larson O'Brien to have a positive, lasting impact on the legal and local community.

A purposeful and industrious networker, Brenna serves as the firm’s point of contact with the community and takes part in collaborative discussions with local businesses, individuals, and organizations. Under the guidance of firm leadership, she cultivates meaningful partnerships to assist those in need and put into practice Larson O’Brien’s dedication to and goals for community involvement and pro bono aid. Brenna plans and facilitates regular community projects and pro bono work across the firm, providing Larson O'Brien attorneys and staff with opportunities to effect change by participating in impact efforts.

In the year prior to joining Larson O'Brien, Brenna lived in Amsterdam, Netherlands where she fulfilled a Fulbright scholarship as an English Teaching Assistant. She is a member of the Association of Pro Bono Counsel (APBCo) and serves on the Steering Committee for the Los Angeles branch of Just the Beginning—A Pipeline Organization. In the fall of 2021, Brenna will depart Larson O'Brien to attend Harvard Law School. After graduating from law school, she plans to continue her efforts of imbedding community outreach and pro bono work into the framework of Los Angeles law firms. In her spare time, Brenna enjoys restoring furniture, playing guitar and piano, and practicing mixology.
