In a decade of experience covering areas of law such as complex civil litigation, real estate, product liability, and insurance defense, Amanda Johnston‘s paralegal career has taken her to firms and entities all over the Southwest. At Larson LLP LLP, she uses skills learned during her time at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to defend the firm’s white collar clients on the other side of the aisle.

Amanda joined the firm after working as a paralegal consultant, a position that afforded her diverse experiences in state government, the offices of in-house counsel, and numerous other organizations.  Prior to her consulting work, she was a discovery paralegal at Bowman and Brooke LLP where she specialized in large-scale document reviews and production. In this position, she gained both the technical know-how and critical reasoning skills to deftly navigate the complex and overwhelming world of discovery, with cost-saving methods for the client at the forefront of her strategy development.

Before moving to Los Angeles from Phoenix, Amanda worked in real estate, handling both litigation and transactional business ranging from water rights to titles and holdings. Although she loves the warm climate of Los Angeles, she still enjoys knitting scarves, sweaters, and hats for her family in her downtime.
