Los Angeles Business Journal

September 28, 2021 Larson LLP is honored and proud to be recognized for the second year as one of the “Most Admired Law Firms: LA’s Top Firms to Work For.” In the annual publication of most admired law firms, Los Angeles Business Journal singles out those that not only draw the best talent, but also take the extra steps to retain their team members.

The annual collection of firms describing the top law firms to work for in the region is based on a firm’s company culture, employee compensation, benefits, programs, diversity and women’s initiatives, and work-life balance. As the legal industry continues to grow, attracting and retaining top talent is a key component to the health and success of a firm. Overall, the "Most Admired Law Firms" comprises those who are consciously working toward creating diverse, positive, and supportive environments to help drive the success of their attorneys and staff.

In Larson LLP’s profile,  the Los Angeles Business Journal recognizes the firm’s inclusive and collaborative work environment as well the firm’s fast growth. The firm’s growth and retention are due in part to its positive work environment and firm culture. Since opening in 2016, we have grown to over 30 attorneys—including 11 partners—and nearly 20 staff members, including six legal secretaries, a robust billing department, an office administrator, and a marketing department covering marketing, internal and external communications, community outreach, and pro bono. Since COVID-19, the firm has hired 15 new team members who were welcomed and seamlessly integrated into the firm culture even while working remotely.

In 2021, Larson LLP launched an Office Wellness Initiative to encourage healthy habits as our employees transitioned back to working in the office on a hybrid schedule. As part of the initiative, we hosted a virtual chair yoga session, distributed branded water bottles to promote hydration, offered a step-tracking app for a friendly competition among colleagues, and planned a firm hike in Griffith Park on a Saturday for employees and their families.
