Counsel Jen C. Won is presenting on Oct. 2 during the virtual 28th International Association of Korean Lawyers (IAKL) Conference.

The annual conference brings together participants with diverse backgrounds serving as in-house counsel, government officials, professors, and practitioners in small and large law firms.

As a regional governor, the chair of the Young Lawyers Division, and the newly appointed chair of White Collar Crime Division for IAKL, Jen is presenting during a session focused on dispute resolution titled, “Arresting Development: Varying Forms of Emergency and Interim Reliefs and Practical Considerations.” As one of the seasoned practitioners leading this session, Jen will share practical takeaways to securing timely relief and enforceable remedies as a key to a successful resolution. Her presentation addresses questions such as: “Who may provide relief?”, “How do you apply for interim relief in federal court?”, “What are the considerations in determining whether to apply for interim relief in court or in arbitration?”, and more.

About IAKL

IAKL connects lawyers of Korean heritage from around the world. The organization began in 1987 when a group of lawyers from Korea and lawyers of Korean descent came together in Seoul, Korea, in connection with an international conference sponsored by the World Peace Through Law Association. Those lawyers decided to form an organization whose primary purpose was to promote communication and friendship between lawyers of Korean heritage around the world.
