Larson O’Brien is proud to be among the prominent Los Angeles law firms participating in L.A. Represents, a new city-wide pro bono initiative.

Mayor Eric Garcetti and City Attorney Mike Feuer announced the launch of L.A. Represents on May 5 as a coalition of law firms, bar associations, and legal aid organizations providing free legal services to Los Angeles residents facing hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Mayor Garcetti’s press release, he emphasized the importance of building a new support system for small businesses that may not be able to afford legal services as they navigate unprecedented workplace regulations. L.A. Represents will also help vulnerable tenants, domestic violence victims, and low-income residents with employment, consumer debt, and bankruptcy matters. City Attorney Feuer noted the immense impact the Los Angeles legal community will have on those in need.

“L.A. Represents is an important initiative for our community. During this challenging time, we must do our part to help out those in need, and the attorneys at Larson O’Brien are eager to do so. I’m proud we’re among the participating firms.”

Larson O’Brien’s fellow alliance members in L.A. Represents include Arent Fox LLP; Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP; Goodwin Procter LLP; Kirkland & Ellis LLP; along with many others.
